First Things First
1) Size Check
Use the blue Drill Guide to size up the damage.
Using the Drill Guide
If the damage fits inside the guide's center opening, you're cleared for repair using Spackle Hack™. If it doesn't fit entirely within the center opening, or is bigger than 1/2" — Spackle Hack™ isn't the right tool and method for repair.
2) Drill
Insert the custom Drill Bit with Depth Stop Collar into your drill. Position the Drill Guide over the hole and apply gentle pressure to keep it from sliding. Drill until the Depth Stop Collar hits the guide — this ensures a clean, uniform hole every time.
3) Plug
Insert the plug angled tip first into the drilled hole, snug enough to stay in place without forcing it. The plug should be sticking out from the wall's surface.
4) Set
Use the recessed face of the green Setting and Sanding tool to press the plug firmly into place. It should still stick out slightly from the wall surface — it will not be completely flush with the wall just yet.
5) Sand
Flip to the sandpaper side of the green tool and sand the plug in a circular motion until it's flush with the wall.
6) Wipe
Wipe away the sanding dust with a cloth prior to painting.
7) Paint
Your wall is paint-ready immediately — no drying time needed.
